Cambridge Choir to Visit St Barnabas
Our parish is overjoyed to host the Chapel Choir of Pembroke College, Cambridge, during the Ottawa leg of their Canadian tour. The choir is conducted by Anna Lapwood, a well-known organist and BBC personality in the U.K.
The choir will make two appearances:
- A concert on Saturday, July 26 at 7:30 pm. Click here to buy tickets
- A service of Solemn Evensong on Sunday, July 27 at 7:15 pm. A free-will offering will be taken.
St Barnabas last hosted a Cambridge choir from Christ’s College in 2014, which was sell-out event, and we expect the same for Pembroke. Tickets are available on a sliding, pay-what-you-can basis, and proceeds will be split 75/25 between the choir and our parish. Click here to find out more.
I was attracted by the welcoming by the parish which I received, as well as the strong feeling that I was finally home.
