All Parish Events Cancelled
Please be advised, that, due to restrictions placed upon the community as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, ALL WORSHIP SERVICES AND OTHER EVENTS in the parish are cancelled until further notice.
The e-bulletin will continue to be sent at the beginning of each week. Additional updates may also be sent out from time to time, as new information needs to be disseminated.
Unfortunately, due the the quickly moving travel advisories around the COVID-19 pandemic, organist and choir director Wesley Warren will not be able to make his planned trip to the U.K. this week to perform a recital at Westminster Abbey. But he did perform the same program for a small, but appreciative, audience at his home Church on Sunday, March 15. You may listen to the program above.
If you missed the live stream, you can listen to this morning's Low Mass, Lent III, below.
Organist and choir conductor Wesley Warren has maintained a foothold, or perhaps an organ-pedal hold, at some of the great churches of London as an organ recitalist, but on March 22 he will make his debut at one of the oldest and greatest of them all. On the evening of Mothering Sunday he'll perform a 30-minute program on the organ of Westminster Abbey.
Music plays an important role in worship at St. Barnabas. Join composer and organist Stephanie Martin as she explains the roots of a Canadian-made Anglo-Catholic musical tradition in a lecture in the parish hall on the evening of Feb. 19.
If you missed it, or would like to hear it again, here is a complete recording of Sunday's Advent Carol Service: From Darkness to Light.
