Today marked the first Sunday of the incumbancy of the Rev Canon George Kwari. Welcome to St Barnabas Fr Kwari!
In his first sermon as rector, speaking on the theme of Good Shepherd Sunday, Fr Kwari noted:
As I stand before you on this first Sunday of my ministry here, my heart is full of gratitude and joy…. I pray that our… ministry build on love, compassion, prayer and commitment to partaking in the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. A ministry that will remain faithful to the word of God from Genesis to Revelation and as God continues to reveal himself to us in ways known to him alone.
