Holy Week and Easter Schedule

Despite the restrictions and difficulties we are presently facing, worship continues at St. Barnabas, albeit in a much abridged format. Prayer is offered daily, and services are live-streamed four times a week for parishioners, and friends near and far, who find a spiritual home at the parish via Facebook. Although virtual worship can never take the place of meeting together in person, let us continue to meet together in prayer, as we begin Holy Week. Live-streamed services on Facebook will begin on Wednesday, and continue through to Easter Day:

Whether you tune in to St. Barnabas, or other services available online, please consider taking some time this week to mark the Passion of Our Lord.  

Palm Sunday, April 5 – 10:30am Blessing of Palms and Ante Communion with hymns and sung Passion.

Wednesday, April 8 – 6pm Office of Tenebrae sung to plainchant.

Maundy Thursday – 6pm Evensong followed by a Vigil at the Altar of Repose.

Good Friday – 12pm modified Solemn Liturgy with hymns and a time of reflection on our Crucified Lord. 

Easter Day – 10:30am Ante Communion with hymns.
